While we had the opportunity and free day, Caroline and I ventured up to Wilmington to visit the city for the day. The added bonus is that Caroline has family there and we were able to visit them as well.
Wilmington is my kind of place. Super laid back, southern, friendly, and near water. All of these add up to it being a spectacular place.
We spent the afternoon walking around downtown. We were blessed to not have super hot weather. We shopped a bit, ate some snacks, and enjoyed the day.
